As an accomplished professional leader Tanya has a strong track record of success working with government, public education, and non-profit sectors. Tanya is highly skilled at managing collaborative processes, and developing and implementing strategies that result in broad changes across multiple institutional systems. She is motivated by an insatiable love of learning, a strong desire for social justice and equity, and an understanding of the root causes and solutions to seemingly intractable societal issues. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Spelman College, a Masters in Mathematical Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University and a doctorate degree in Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
