Jenn Galinato
Student, Sacramento City College
Jenn is a student at Sacramento City College and is currently serving as the Regional Affairs Director for the Student Senate of California Community Colleges. Jenn’s interest in basic needs stems from her time in the Philippines and within her own hometown of Sacramento, particularly seeing how homelessness impacted both places. She saw firsthand how the lack of accessibility to basic needs impacts a student’s ability to learn and how many individuals struggle daily to choose between eating and finding a place to sleep and completing their homework assignments.
