Adela Jones
Superintendent, Sanger Unified School District
After serving as associate superintendent of Sanger Unified School District for three years, Adela Jones was appointed to superintendent of schools.. Jones has been in the district for more than 30 years. She began her teaching career in 1984. Three years later she began teaching at elementary schools in Sanger, was a vice-principal at Washington Academic Middle School and a principal at Jackson Elementary School.
The Governor’s Council for Post-Secondary Education envisions an integrated statewide system for post-secondary education that better serves California’s diverse students as part of a cradle-to-career educational continuum.
